We are looking for experienced MRI Radiographers.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced MRI Radiographers to join our dynamic imaging team. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality MRI services, contribute to patient-centred care, and support departmental excellence through professional practice.
Our MRI Radiographers:
* Perform MRI examinations using 1.5T and 3T MRI systems across multiple Canberra Imaging sites.
* Deliver high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and support staff to optimise workflow and outcomes.
* Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and support Junior/MRI training where required.
MRI Radiographers work closely with patient booking staff and radiologists to ensure that the needs of our referrers and patients are met with great care and professionalism. They use state-of-the-art-equipment and are supported by clinical staff, site managers and colleagues.
MRI Radiographers also help with the development of trainee MRI Radiographers and work collegiately with others.
MRI Radiographers may work from including Bruce (Calvary Private Hospital), Deakin, Garran, Gungahlin, and the University of Canberra Superclinic. MRI scanning technology may be rolled out to our other sites in the future.
MRI Radiographers must have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
* Tertiary qualification in Diagnostic Radiography
* Unconditional AHPRA registration
* ASMIRT MRI Level 1 Certification
* Full work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
Please note that while these positions are full-time, CIG will consider part-time work arrangements.
For appropriately skilled and experienced MRI Radiographers, we will do our best to match or better your current pay rate.
