We are seeking Duty Managers / Hotel Managers to take on full-time roles based in in Toowoomba, Darling Downs region. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure that the business’ operations are smoothly integrated and run efficiently, including: Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, check in, room service and housekeeping activities. Welcoming guests to the hotel, restaurant, functions and events, and providing them with local tourism information about the Toowoomba region. Planning a range of function, conference and restaurant events that cater for both corporate and leisure sectors. Overseeing accounting, purchasing and cost monitoring. Ensuring compliance with liquor, health and safety laws and regulations. Managing customer complaints and queries in a professional manner and resolving any conflicts. Assisting the owners with the development of documented procedures and staff training. Supervising security arrangements and arranging contractors for property maintenance when required. To secure this exciting position, you will need: A Diploma or higher qualification in Hotel Management or closely related discipline (candidates with at least 3 years’ relevant full-time work experience will also be considered). A minimum of 1 year full-time experience in a similar role. A strong focus on high-level customer service and guest satisfaction. The ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate applied leadership. Access to reliable transport.
