Engineering & Infrastructure Department is responsible to ensure that Monash Health facilities, buildings & infrastructure assets are managed & maintained at appropriate standards for critical health services delivery.
We are responsible for a range of capital/minor works projects, infrastructure and assets replacement programs, We are responsible to ensure all our buildings, facilities & infrastructure are built & maintained to meet all relevant mandatory statutory regulations, codes, standards & guidelines.
**About the Role**
Working with Operations/Maintenance Coordinators, in-house trade teams, external contractors, Engineering Managers and relevant stakeholders, this position has key electrical infrastructure maintenance responsibilities for the Engineering Department across Monash Health facilities.
This will be a pivotal role, assisting with developing and implementing all aspects of the Monash Health asset management/maintenance strategies that will enable the facilities to be operated and maintained in a timely, cost effective manner. This will entail considerable co-ordination with clinical services, effective liaison with project managers and working with key departments in the provision of engineering services.
**About You**
High level analytical skills, creativity and innovation are required to ensure time, cost and quality aspects meet Monash Health policies, procedures and standards. This position will entail performing duties of a similar nature at other Monash Health sites.
Indicative attendance 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, flexible roster allows one day off per month
The incumbent may be required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays depending on demands of the facilities
The position will be required to participate in the Monash Health Engineering on call roster
**What you need**:
- Experience using CMMS for preventative and reactive maintenance
- Experience working as a Facilities Coordinator in a hospital or similar environment
- Experience managing in-house trades and external contractors
