Located in the heart of the community, our café is a favourite for breakfast, lunch, coffee dates, and private events. We're now looking for a Café/Restaurant Manager who shares our commitment to quality, creativity, and care — both for our customers and our team.
Key Responsibilities as our Restaurant Manager, you'll be the heart of daily operations, responsible for delivering a consistently outstanding customer experience and supporting the continued growth of our café.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to design seasonal menus that reflect the café's Italian-inspired identity
• Coordinate and oversee private bookings, group functions, and special events
• Manage ordering of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure consistent stock levels and quality
• Set menu pricing based on cost analysis, market demand, and profitability goals
• Keep accurate records of inventory, expenses, and daily sales
• Ensure the venue is clean, safe, and meets all food safety and health regulations
• Lead, train, and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff to maintain high service standards
• Create and manage staff rosters to align with peak hours and operational needs
• Welcome guests, assist during busy periods, and handle any customer concerns professionally
• Monitor the quality of food and service to ensure it meets customer expectations
• Oversee takeaway and online order processes to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
• Support marketing efforts by helping plan promotions, events, or social media campaigns
• Build relationships with local suppliers and service providers
• Contribute to business planning, including sales targets, cost control, and growth strategies Requirement:
• Diploma of relevant qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• A passion for food, coffee, and delivering great service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine is a bonus

Pay: $77,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
