The Opportunity

Are you an experienced travel professional looking to take ownership of unique, high-value group bookings? We're looking for a confident and commercially minded consultant to join our team and manage Groups from start to finish.

With growing demand and existing large corporate key projects, we are after a hardworking, motivated and dedicated team player who can roll up their sleeves and assist in coordinating and expanding our key group travel accounts (and more).


The Role

This is a specialist role focused exclusively on Groups — not general reservations.

Based in our Mount Lawley office and reporting to the Groups & Bespoke Travel Manager, you will manage group bookings from quotation through to delivery, handling everything from sourcing and pricing to conversion, servicing and post-travel follow‑up.

You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams and corporate clients to ensure each group program is commercially sound, operationally smooth and delivered to the highest standard.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage domestic and international group travel bookings (10–1000+ guests)
* Source, quote, price, and convert group and conference enquiries
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and suppliers
* Manage multiple group files simultaneously while meeting service level agreements
* Ensure accurate pricing, margins, and itinerary structure
* Liaise with airlines, hotels, venues, and ground operators
* Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking lifecycle


Requirements

* 2-3 years plus travel consulting experience in both domestic and international with confidence in quoting and managing group or tailor-made itineraries
* Proven experience managing group or tailor-made itineraries
* A proactive sales approach – able to build relationships, follow up leads, and convert enquiries
* Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple group files at once
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service while maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers/clients/team
* Great time management skills and ability to work within SLAs
* Positive attitude and a will to succeed
* The capacity to work both independently and as a team player.


Systems & Technical Skills (Preferred)

* Travelport/Galileo experience preferred with an understanding of IATA fares and ticketing
* Strong spreadsheet skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* IATA ticketing (preferred)
