In these situations, we use our proven expertise, judgement and experience to quickly diagnose and solve complex problems while often managing difficult stakeholders and negotiations.Joining our BRS team presents a unique opportunity to be the key point of contact for key stakeholders in insolvency situations and develop a wide range of practical business skills including team leadership, financial analytics, dispute resolution and negotiations.As a Corporate and Personal Insolvency Manager in our BRS team, your impact will be seen by:Having day to day responsibility for appointments for a wide range of businesses across all sectorsPreparing and/or reviewing financial analysis alongside the drafting of reports and presentations, including (where appropriate) use of data & analytics to underpin your findings. In typically tight timeframes, you need to be a key contributor to assessing and communicating the current financial position of a business and therefore the options available to stakeholdersDay to day management of businesses under external administration and/or asset recovery processes, including identifying and mitigating risks associated with restructuring and insolvency engagementsDealing with a wide range of stakeholders in distressed situations, from boards, to financiers, to employees, to government agencies, and moreMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practicesContributing to our collaborative team culture through delegation, mentoring and coaching of staff to deliver positive outcomes for our clients, both on projects and more broadlyBringing your unique skills and interests to improve outcomes for our clients, people and practice. This will include the ability to deal with the wide range of stakeholders applicable in distressed situations, from boards, to financiers, to employees, to government and many more.RequirementsYou will have experience in financial analysis and investigations across multiple insolvency engagements and are practical in applying this to real world situations.Good time management, delegation and team communication skills will hold you in good stead for this dynamic environment.Team player with a positive “can do” attitude to challenges who is able to work under pressure across multiple engagements.Strong Microsoft Office skills coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills are a must, and a basic understanding and enthusiasm towards using data, analytics and visualisation tools, eg PowerBI and AlteryxYou will have solid professional experience and exposure to formal insolvency and/or turnaround situations.
