Join our Demand Response Unit at Sunshine Coast University Hospital as a Registered Nurse and be part of an cutting-edge team improving patient flow and delivering high-quality, person-centred care. This energetic unit provides expert assessment and care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. As an RN you will take on a leadership role in coordinating care, supporting colleagues, and contributing to quality, safety, education and research. Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care
in line with NMBA standards, legislation, and Sunshine Coast Health's values.
Provide leadership in clinical practice
, including coordinating care, delegating tasks, and mentoring ENs, AINs, students, and colleagues.
Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement
by identifying risks, participating in incident reviews, and contributing to best practice outcomes.
Engage in education and professional development
, supporting your own learning while providing health promotion, orientation, and teaching for others.
Salary between $82 753 - $106 144 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $41.73 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (several full time and part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
