About the Role Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
Manage the definition, documentation, and successful completion of a medium-scale project.
Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk management, to deliver quality project outcomes.
Manage, monitor, and report on project trends and performance against plans and schedules.
Oversee resources, expenses, and capital costs against forecasts.
Establish, influence, and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; facilitate effective communication to promote change adoption and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback, and expectation management.
Lead a multi-disciplinary project team(s) managing resources effectively.
Mandatory Requirements Proven experience managing medium-scale IM / ICT projects, preferably in healthcare (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level 6).
Ability to develop and manage communication channels and stakeholder groups, facilitate business change decisions, and plan and implement change (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 6).
Understanding of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) and ability to advise on techniques and tools (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5).
Effective negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and communication skills in complex project environments, including strategic influencing.
Experience leading, managing, and mentoring small to medium teams, with a focus on change management (NHS: Leading change through people).
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to foster effective team relationships (NHS: Collaborative working).
