We are seeking a skilled and licensed maintenance electrician to join our client's dynamic team in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with the potential for permanent employment after a successful 4-month probation period. You will report to the State Service Manager as part of the Facilities Service team. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Performing urgent, routine, and ad hoc maintenance, repairs, and inspections across various sites.
* Operating independently and overseeing your own tasks.
* Engaging in team efforts for small project works.
* Encouraging a collaborative team environment with colleagues.
*Requirements*
* Valid VIC Electrical Licence.
* Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, preferably in a commercial setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and repair techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's licence
