Job Opportunity:
Randstad is proud to partner with a leading rail systems contractor responsible for delivering the rail systems packages on a major Sydney Metro project.
The Two Site Engineer positions are based South West Sydney along the alignment for the new Western Sydney Airport metro project. The site locations are Orchard Hills, Luddenham, Bradfield, and St Mary's, and Site Engineers will be based at various site locations along the alignment.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the construction interface and handover from civil to rail systems.
* Oversee the delivery of the rail systems subcontractor.
* Manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure defect management processes are in place.
* Lead documentation in readiness for work packs and support the Construction Interface Manager with the four-week lookahead.
* Provide technical insight to ensure installation and commissioning is realized within schedule and budget.
Requirements
* A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
* 2 years minimum experience in delivering rail infrastructure packages for a contracting organization.
* Experience with ITPs and defect management.
