The Role:
We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join our Canberra office, supporting commercial and residential projects. As a Trainee Building Surveyor, you will work towards becoming a licensed certifier under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess project documentation and liaise with clients on compliance with building regulations and codes.
2. Prepare and issue building permits in a timely manner.
3. Maintain accurate documentation and job files.
4. Support communication with authorities and councils.
5. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and compliance recommendations.
Requirements
* Currently undertaking or recently completed a relevant university degree (or equivalent qualification).
* Will to work toward accreditation and licensing within ACT/state requirements.
* Able to manage time effectively and contribute to team goals.
* A clear communicator who enjoys working with others and building relationships.
* Motivated to grow into a qualified building surveyor.
