Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations, driving improvements in reporting, compliance, and controls.
The successful candidate will have expertise in financial management, reporting, and compliance, with a strong technical foundation in accounting and taxation. They will also have experience in leading teams and driving process improvement, as well as strong commercial acumen and the confidence to liaise with operational leaders and the Board.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial and management reporting across multiple entities, supporting statutory and tax compliance, and partnering with operational leaders to deliver commercial insights and drive performance.
You will also play a key role in enhancing visibility across the group through structured reporting frameworks and financial guidance, and will be supported by a small, capable team across accounts payable and payroll.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical foundation in accounting, reporting, and compliance;
* Demonstrated experience in a privately owned, multi-entity business (ideally spanning construction, agriculture, or property sectors);
* Proven ability to lead a small team and drive process improvement;
* Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to liaise with operational leaders and the Board;
* A hands-on, solutions-focused leader who enjoys being close to the detail while influencing big-picture decisions.
