About the Role
As the Employment Services Manager, you will lead and empower a dedicated team delivering employment services to the Newman community. You are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery to jobseekers, and building strong relationships with culturally diverse staff, local stakeholders, and the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Positively engage with and support culturally diverse staff, jobseekers, and local stakeholders.
* Lead and monitor the team to deliver services to jobseekers. This includes providing integrated case management and support to assist jobseekers to find and keep their employment.
* Motivate, coach/mentor, develop, and empower staff to achieve quality outputs.
* Provide administrative and office management services, and support the local community and other AAC stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in leadership and management roles.
* Prior experience in Employment Services, with an understanding of Aboriginal culture and practices, is preferred.
* Tertiary qualifications in Management and/or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) management are desirable.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations, with experience administering WHS requirements within an organisational setting.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
* Current Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance, provided to and deemed satisfactory by the employer.
* Excellent management and communication skills.
* Demonstrated empathy and a strong commitment to working with, overseeing, and supporting culturally diverse people and the community.
* Highly developed administrative, project planning, time management, and delegation skills.
