Apply now to be part of our team.Job summary:Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: MorningTuesday: MorningWednesday: MorningThursday: MorningFriday: MorningSaturday: MorningSunday: Morning2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this roleWorking rights required for this roleExpected salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per yearRoles and Responsibilities of Telecommunication Technologist/SupervisorEnsuring all safety protocols are implemented and enforced as the main priority before commencing any work and continuing to assess and identify any risks and ceasing work when any risks are identified until any risk is mitigatedDesigning network built-in drawings for the multi dwelling units and single dwelling unitsTroubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving network performance malfunctions, defects and faultsAssisting with on-site network problems and liaison between third-party network servicesLeading team of technicians and supervising work progress and responsible to complete projects successfullyInstalling, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing enclosures in NBN network starting from exchange to modemTesting different network technologies with various equipment and computer softwareRecording and developing test results according to Telstra and NBN guidelines and regulations, procedures, guidelines and quality standardsSimplifying complicated design and maps for the civil crew to install new network in the given area and scoping for them with the line diagramLiaising with client about the network infrastructure and giving technical advice to themLiaising with the various suppliers and vendors about the resources required in the project and monitoring contractual obligationsSkills & Experience RequiredRelevant qualifications or equivalent experience.2 years recent and relevant work experienceRelevant industrial competenciesExcavator ticket (should be competent)Asbestos ticket (supervisor and non-friable)Traffic managementFirst AID and CPRWorking at heightUnderground asset locationFull Victorian license and able to drive the trailerFiber skills (detailed knowledge about enclosures, joints and testing commissioning)HFC skills (upgrading, changing, and testing)
