Production Costume Manager for The Wizard of Oz
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage costumes for our production of The Wizard of Oz. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes and is passionate about theatre.
About the Role:
* Manage costume inventory: Ensure that all costumes are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for.
* Coordinate with production team: Work closely with the director, designers, and other crew members to ensure that costumes meet production requirements.
* Maintain schedule: Keep track of costume fittings, rehearsals, and performances to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
The Production Costume Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Managing the costume wardrobe, including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining costumes.
2. Coordinating with actors to ensure proper fitting and maintenance of costumes.
3. Assisting with costume design as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with costume design and construction is a plus.
