About the role:
We currently have a full time position available for a reliable, flexible and customer service officer to join the Freight team in Tennant Creek.
You will be put through a great training program and be joining a team of like minded people in a family friendly culture.
We pride ourselves on the tenure of our employees.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating freight distribution for the region
Loading and unloading freight from coaches and trailers, involving repetitive manual handling
Processing quotes, bookings and payments for freight consignments
Providing customer service of a high standard
Responding to enquires at the freight counter and over the phone
Maintaining computerised records for administration purposes
Providing general support to the team.

Forklift licence (essential)
Satisfactory national criminal history check
High levels of communication and customer service skills
A presentable appearance and qualified approach to your work
Reliability and flexibility to do shift-work
Motivation and commitment to provide excellent service
Intermediate skills in the Microsoft suite of products
A working knowledge of a freight Management or booking system
A proactive ‘hands on’ approach
The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
