Due to continued expansion and increasing project demands, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. About the Role This full-time role involves supporting our engineering and project management teams in planning, drafting, technical assessments, documentation, and site inspections. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that all civil and structural works are compliant with standards, accurately documented, and delivered to specification. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, plans, and documentation for civil and structural works. Supporting design and planning activities by gathering measurements, conducting calculations, and reviewing project requirements. Conducting site visits to monitor progress, assess compliance, and identify issues affecting quality or timelines. Gathering and analysing data from project sites, including materials, soil conditions, and environmental factors. Preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and updating project documentation. Collaborating with engineers to review plans, evaluate construction methods, and ensure compliance with standards. Assisting with cost estimates, material quantities, and planning for future project stages. Supporting basic materials testing and quality checks. Providing general technical support to the project team as needed. Skills & Experience Required Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction Design, or a related discipline. At least 2 years’ experience in a Civil Engineering Technician or similar technical support role. Strong understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and engineering standards. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering calculation tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Work Location Our main office is located in Rouse Hill, NSW, with occasional travel to project sites across Sydney.
