Position Information
McCallums Hill Public School is located in South Western Sydney and currently has an enrolment of approximately 330 students, which includes 7 support classes.
The school caters for a diverse student population with 87% of students from a language background other than English.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach: LIP Library (Primary) or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a school library using the Oliver Library Management system, including budget, technology and resource management.
- Demonstrated creative, innovative, and flexible approach to managing a stimulating library learning environment to engage all students, enhance their learning experiences and promote a love of literature.
- Evidence of highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a cooperative team, enhance practice and build positive and authentic relationships with students, staff, parents/carers and the wider community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
