Job Overview
The Supplier Relationships Principal plays a pivotal role in establishing and managing a robust supplier relationship framework, enabling effective governance and collaboration with strategic suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with suppliers in line with the supplier segmentation framework, ensuring regular assessments to apply appropriate governance levels.
* Support the development and implementation of vendor management tools to collect relevant data and information for efficient supplier relationship management.
* Identify and execute initiatives to optimize engagement with suppliers, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
* Provide training and guidance on supplier management principles and requirements related to operational contract management.
* Collaborate with digital asset management managers to align entitlements and spend information for budget forecasting purposes.
Key Qualifications
* Extensive experience in procurement, supplier relationship management, or vendor governance in digital procurement.
* Demonstrable experience managing strategic supplier relationships across multiple categories.
* Demonstrable experience working with various performance and governance obligations, including SLA/KPI reporting, facilitating, and leading governance meetings and committees.
* Strong experience leading and managing vendor risk mitigation and contract compliance frameworks.
* Experience with third-party risk management focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
* Knowledge of advanced relationship management principles, including strategic partnerships, innovation-driven vendor engagement, procurement analytics, and data-driven decision making.
Education and Certifications
* Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in an appropriate field such as procurement & supply chain, commerce, accounting, business, or similar.
* Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) level 5 or 6, Australian Institute of Procurement & Contract Management (AIPCM) Certified Procurement Professional (CPP), or equivalent qualification.
