About The Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a premium automotive environment. You will support the Service Manager in driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and mentoring a high-performing service team.
In this role you will:
• Assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service department
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and team performance to meet service targets
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences through proactive communication and problem-solving
• Support recruitment, training, and development of service team members
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and departmental performance metrics
• Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Workshop teams to enhance overall dealership operations
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, workplace safety regulations, and internal processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service department
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Previous experience in automotive service management or a senior service advisor role
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• High level of professionalism and customer service focus
• Strong analytical skills and experience managing KPIs and budgets
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for luxury automotive brands and delivering premium customer experiences
