Simmonds Steel is a growing steel fabrication company specializing in mild steel and rebar prefabrication located in Landsdale. We are seeking an experienced 2nd class welder to join our workshop team in a short term- possible long term position.
The job consists of fabricating rebar mesh and cages using jigs.
The successful applicant will need
* Experience in Fabrication and Welding
* Fabrication experience with various thickness materials
* Mig welding experience
* Jig work
* Overhead crane experience preferred
* Interpretation & reading skills for drawings & technical specifications
* Reliable, hard working and self motivated
* Reliability and punctuality a must
* Day and Afternoon shift available
* Own transport
Good rates and overtime available.
Immediate start or willing to wait for the right person.
