Job Role: Marketing Campaign Manager
This role involves day-to-day management of media liaison and project execution within accounts. The successful candidate will thrive on pitching clients' stories to the media and integrating social media into PR campaigns.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Client Service Management
* Assist campaign managers and directors with client and project management.
* Offer advice and recommendations to clients and teams regarding media strategy and tactics.
* Maintain relationships with clients and establish us as a long-term partner for marketing and communications services.
* Manage communication with select clients and ensure deadlines and service agreements are met consistently.
Media Outreach
* Understand and follow the news agenda to position clients and products within the wider narrative.
* Pitch engaging content to journalists, bloggers, and analysts on an ongoing basis.
* Assist in managing press tours, briefings, and meetings.
* Review and refine campaign programmes at a tactical level to ensure relevance and adapt plans where necessary.
Content Creation
* Draft a range of written materials including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders, and boilerplates.
* Create press materials and compelling content for traditional and digital media.
* Develop knowledge around finding good news angles or hooks.
* Work with content specialists to ensure quality and consistency.
Digital / Social Media
* Use social media platforms to expand your network, develop media relationships, and positively impact client results.
* Pitch additional digital content including infographics, animations, and video to support written content and client aims.
* Provide social media insight and execution, exploring new tools, solutions, and processes to evolve and optimise client PR campaigns.
About You
* Relevant experience working in a B2B, corporate, consumer, or digital communications agency environment at a Marketing Campaign Manager level.
* Attention to detail.
* Proven written ability in English.
* Creative thinking.
