PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To provide effective leadership and manage the team in development and continuous improvement of asset management plans, maintenance
strategies and capital programs for remote power generation and fuel logistics across Northern Territory with the goal to optimise assets
performance, risk, capital and maintenance expenditure using commercial and industry best practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage and develop Remote Asset Management Team and individual's performance and development to foster teamwork and inclusion
to achieve Power Service's strategic objectives.
Provide effective leadership in the integration of Quality, Risk and asset Financial Management practices into Strategic Asset Management
Plans for remote power generation assets to ensure optimised life-cycle costs.
Lead and direct the team in the development, preparation and ongoing improvement of asset management plans and maintenance strategies,
including job plans and their application within the Asset Management Systems (AMS).
Maintain effective oversight of asset maintenance activities to ensure delivery in accordance with business plans and budget parameters, and
to achieve network performance targets and manage network risk exposure.
Oversee the delivery of the capital works programs and maintenance strategies for all power services Generation infrastructure in isolated
power systems and ensure coordination with associated network investments in these systems.
Development and management of asset information within business systems, including asset information and work management, to support
asset cost, performance and risk management for remote generation assets.
Engage with internal and external agencies to manage budgets, performance reporting, facilitate community and demand growth, and
undertake procurement and land tenure activities.
Oversee the fuel logistics and trends on consumption of fuel for all Remote Operations power stations including collection, analysis of data and
supervise fuel supplies, demand/ consumption across the Territory.
Lead asset failure investigations, including the development of improvement actions.
