About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across Council's plant, vehicles and equipment. In this role, you will carry out servicing, repairs and fabrication tasks, ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles, heavy plant, and equipment.
* Design and fabricate equipment and fixtures as required.
* Apply safe working practices and maintain a hazard‐free workshop environment.
* Assist the Team Leader Workshop and carry out additional duties as required.
