The Role
This is a role for someone who understands both the numbers and the floor, who can move comfortably between ownership discussions and a busy Saturday night.
As General Manager, you will:
* Lead the strategic direction and commercial performance of the venue
* Own and deliver against budgets, forecasts and profitability targets
* Build, mentor and hold accountable a strong leadership team
* Oversee compliance, stock control, wage management and asset protection
* Drive marketing, events and revenue initiatives in line with business plans
* Maintain strong visibility with guests, staff, community and stakeholders
* Create systems and standards that ensure consistency across all departments
About You
* Proven experience as a General Manager or senior venue leader in a high-volume hospitality environment
* Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership
* Experience managing multi-outlet venues; gaming, events, bistro and bars
* Confident leading large teams and developing department heads
* Calm, decisive and solutions-focused under pressure
* Commercially minded with a passion for long-term venue growth
* Full working rights in Australia
