A Western Australian leading manufacturing business supplies to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial, Construction and Commercial sectors with an annual turnover of more than 80 million. The company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer ready to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the leadership and management of all financial functions.
Responsibilities
* Play an active role in strategic decisions, financial analysis and general management duties.
* Ensure high quality monthly reporting and forecasting is provided.
* Assist departmental managers on making decisions with a commercial and financial perspective and help guide strategy.
* Work closely with Project Managers to guide the financial and commercial outcomes of Projects.
* Work with the Senior Management team on guiding the company direction and day to day operational needs.
* Manage the company’s banking relationships, cash flow and working capital requirements.
* Handle all business statutory requirements.
* Drive accurate, detailed and timely reporting of both operational and financial aspects of the business.
* Be a key driver of continuous improvement by understanding the operations of the business and adding value drawing on past finance and commercial experience.
* Provide commercial and contractual support company‑wide as and when required.
* Maintain accuracy and financial integrity of GL at all times.
* Ensure project costing accuracy is also maintained.
Qualifications
* Bachelor and/or Master in Commerce, Business or Accounting.
* Demonstrated experience as a CFO within a manufacturing/industrial based business with an in‑depth understanding of Finance, HR and Office Management Functions.
* Minimum of 8+ years CFO experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.
* Possess a strong commercial acumen and passion for continual improvement.
* Excellent leadership skills, be confident, articulate and highly motivated with a hands‑on approach.
* Have an astute eye for detail and strong people‑management skills.
* Australian permanent residency is required for this position.
