Role Overview
* We are currently building a talent pool of qualified professionals to deliver trauma-informed and person-centered case-management services to young people.
* The role involves engaging young people into education, training, and/or employment, and working alongside key stakeholders including parents and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* To reduce the risk of reoffending by addressing issues influencing offending behaviour through trauma-informed and person-centered case-management services.
* To engage young people into education, training, and/or employment opportunities.
* To work with key stakeholders including parents and families to support young people in building positive relationships.
Requirements:
* A completed Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminology, or Criminal Justice, or similar.
* Demonstrated case management experience in a youth-focused role.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations across Youth Justice and Child Safety.
* In-depth understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A valid driver's license.
* Possession of, or willingness and eligibility to obtain, a Working with Children Check.
* Possession of, or willingness and eligibility to obtain, a National Police Clearance Check.
* Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
