Job Description:
As a Transitional Year Fellow, you will play a pivotal role in the care and management of critically ill patients. Under senior supervision, you will develop your independent decision-making skills, taking charge of patient reviews, family discussions, and multidisciplinary coordination.
* Managing critically ill patients with increasing autonomy.
* Leading clinical reviews and discussions.
* Participating in education delivery and junior doctor teaching.
* Contributing to quality improvement projects.
Key Qualifications:
You must be a CICM trainee eligible for Transition Year appointment, possessing strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex patients. High-level communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. A collaborative approach, professionalism, commitment to teaching, and simulation are also vital. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
