Job Description
As a Mechanic at Outback Spirit Tours, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of our premium Outback Spirit service fleet. This includes vehicles, vessels, and various machinery. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring a pleasant and safe experience for all guests, visitors, and team members.
You will work on a range of tasks including:
* Collaborating with management to prioritise and coordinate repairs and maintenance
* Conducting preventive maintenance servicing and breakdown repairs for all fleet items and property maintenance equipment
* Performing regular maintenance on prime power generators to ensure a reliable power supply
Key Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with:
* Mechanical experience with heavy vehicles, vessels, and generators
* Strong attention to detail and effective troubleshooting abilities
* Exceptional communication skills and strong customer service capabilities
* A mechanical trade qualification covering both petrol and diesel engines
* A valid Driver's Licence (Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) preferred)
