Overview 
Currently we are seeking Senior Medical Imaging Technologists to join our team. The successful applicant/s will provide and coordinate comprehensive Medical Imaging services to patients at an advanced practice level and provide direct support to the Chief Medical Imaging Technologist including leave relief. You will also supervise, coordinate and provide leadership and management to Medical Imaging Technologists at Rockingham and Murray District hospitals, perform general radiography, Computed Tomography and specialist medical imaging procedures in accordance with the Radiation Safety Act and its Regulations. 
South Metropolitan Health Service is the umbrella organization for Rockingham Peel Group, with two hospital campuses: Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, plus community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. Responsibilities 
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive Medical Imaging services to patients at an advanced practice level.

Qualifications and Experience 
- Senior Medical Imaging Technologist or equivalent level of experience in related imaging modalities. 
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and coordinate imaging staff across hospital sites.

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/04/2026.
