Mexx Engineering is a leading Gold Coast-based engineering firm specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke robotic assembly systems and advanced manufacturing lines. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team.
About the Role
This position is a blend of office management and bookkeeping, requiring a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and financial functions of the business while supporting the company director and team with executive and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Handle Accounts Payable / Receivable, Payroll, Superannuation, and BAS preparation.
- Maintain financial records and assist with reporting.
- Perform data entry, reconciliation, and ensure accuracy across all financial transactions.
- Support the Director and team with executive and administrative tasks.
- Oversee general office administration and coordination duties.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and deadlines including ISO compliance.
About You
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and office management roles.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid organisational skills.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work both independently and within a small team.
- Excellent references are essential.
