The Role
With a portfolio of iconic Australian fashion brands and a collaborative, people-first culture, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused Talent & Onboarding Coordinator to join o Austin Group.
Based at our Support Office in Malvern and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering a seamless, high-quality end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience across our national retail network.
You will play a key role in attracting and engaging top talent, coordinating recruitment processes, and ensuring new team members are set up for success from day one. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across the retail network, including advertising, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination
* Partner with stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practice
* Conduct background checks including references and work rights compliance
* Prepare employment contracts and coordinate onboarding documentation for new hires
* Manage onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time
* Provide support to new team members navigating systems and onboarding requirements
* Assist with employee lifecycle administration including probation tracking, benefits, and onboarding logistics
* Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment agencies
You will have:
* Previous experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or a similar role (retail experience highly regarded)
* HR or Business Administration qualification (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
* Experience working with HRIS or applicant tracking systems (Dayforce experience advantageous)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a high level of initiative
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
