WHAT'S ON OFFER
We have three different multi-unit projects on offer which are due to kick off and are $100m+ in size. The candidate must come from a suitable Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder and have a strong safety background in new build delivery for a principal contractor. This builder takes a lot of pride with their safety systems and doing things in the correct and safe way.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE
* Conduct site inductions
* Review and monitor contractors SWMS
* Oversee general site safety
* Lead site safety meetings
* Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices
* Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
* Help promote WHS&E awareness on site
* Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans
* Maintain all WHS&E records for the project
* Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent Tertiary Qualification
* Sound understanding of WHS&E Legislation and Regulations
* Must have around 2-3yrs experience as a Safety Officer working for reputable Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder or even a large subcontractor
* We will only consider candidates with LOCAL EXPERIENCE
* Previous knowledge using the Hammertech System or Procore System would be advantageous
