True North Personnel are seeking a Labourerto commence immediately in a casual opportunity in Darwin.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a casual/temporary basis. You will provide vital support to qualified tradespeople on site by assisting with day-to-day tasks, operating tools, and ensuring safe and efficient work practices across various construction activities.
This assignment is scheduled to commence during the weekending 21st December and is expected to run for approximately six weeks. Please note: work will not be scheduled on public holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist tradespeople with daily labour support and equipment handling.
* Operate jackhammers to break up concrete and other surfaces safely.
* Support concrete cutting activities, including site setup and cleanup.
* Assist with Vac Truck operations such as hose handling and spoil management.
* Dig trenches to specifications for service installations (plumbing, conduits).
* Maintain trench safety with spotting and barricading measures.
* Set up, maintain, and pack down work areas including barriers and signage.
* Keep the site clean and orderly by removing debris and managing waste effectively.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Previous labouring experience in construction, plumbing, or civil industries.
* Valid Drivers Licence and access to your own transportation.
* You will hold a White Card.
* A strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
* Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks including heavy lifting and operating machinery.
* Willingness to learn and contribute positively to the worksite.
