The roleReporting to the Manager, Practice Management Program, you will provide specialist advice on the Queensland Health Practice Management Enterprise Solution (PMES) and its integration with state-wide and localised business requirements. You will lead, manage and execute the planning and completion of PMES testing and manage the release cycles of the program. You will also manage a state-wide system defect log, including the identification, investigation and resolution of system defects.
In addition, you will develop and implement PMES education and training resources and advice to PMES stakeholders and end users, taking a lead role in supporting the PMES Statewide User Group and Governance Group. You will also prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence, and policy documentation as required. You will also liaise cooperatively with internal/external providers and stakeholders to ensure software requirements align with business requirements in a continuously changing environment.
**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:
- Expert knowledge of, and experience with practice management software systems, including the associated statutory frameworks, policies and relative financial management practices within the public health sector
- High level ability to project manage end to end system improvement initiatives.
- High level of understanding of the Medicare and Private Health Insurance claiming systems and associated legislation, rules, processes and reporting requirements.
- Ability to implement and manage stakeholder support models to facilitate business change decision-making processes.
- Effective consultation, facilitation and proven written and oral communication skills.
