The role has key accountability for preparing, developing and applying findings from financial reports including forecasting budgets and performance measurement, to support financial decision making for SMT and Operational Managers.DutiesLead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with SMT and departmental managers to support services contracts and operations, grants, KPI's or other metrics.Prepare monthly comparison reports with actual outcomes v/s financial data.Prepare and present monthly management reports, including financial performance analysis against budget and actuals.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and assist in business planning, scenario analysis, and benchmarking.Collaborate on business case development, including scenario analysis and benchmarking for new projects.Support operational teams in understanding financial reports and translating them into actionable steps.Track grant funding, ensuring utilization aligns with approved budgets and organizational objectives.Assist the General Manager - Finance and Fleet in the development case analysis, scenario analysis and benchmarking in consultation with the SMT.Offer training and support to the finance team on advanced financial reporting, variance analysis, and system usage, including tools like Power BI.Act as a liaison between the finance team and operational managers to ensure clear communication of financial information.Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational objectives.CultureYou will be a part of unique and supportive culture where every team member is treated and valued as an individual.Permanent full-time position.Competitive salary + 11.5% super + not-for-profit salary packaging (increases your take home pay).Supportive and collaborate team environment.Desired Skills and ExperienceCOVID - 19 RequirementImmunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.RequiredBusiness/Commerce degree with an Accounting Major.Completion of CPA, CA or equivalent.Minimum three (3) years' experience in similar role in a similar organisation.Proficiency in financial analysis and interpreting financial data.Extensive experience in leading budgeting processes, preparing forecasts and presenting financial reports.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.Valid Police Check.PreferredPrevious experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central.Previous experience in Power BI.Previous experience in overseeing and coordinating Medicare Claims.How to applyIf this sounds like you, please submit your application by following the links on the recruitment page.
