The role of a Fuel Operations Specialist involves performing maintenance and operational tasks related to fuel supply at Defence bases. Key responsibilities include:
* Reporting to the Officer-in-Charge, the specialist will undertake various operational roles on base
* Ensuring the safe and compliant operation of aviation and/or ground fuel installations
* Managing the quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and associated systems
Key Requirements:
* A valid drivers license (HR or HC) is highly regarded
* Defence-specific training is advantageous but can be provided where necessary
* Safety must always be the top priority
* Applicants must hold or be able to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
