The Role
As a Hire Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the NSW team, providing critical support functions and acting as the first point of contact for the business. Your exceptional customer service skills, ability to multitask, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our operations.
Reporting directly to the NSW Operations Manager, you’ll manage daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for all hire general enquiries.
* Manage customer enquiries via phone and online.
* Create and process operational documentation, including invoicing, purchase orders, hire agreements, and reporting.
* Assist in preparing drivers' daily run schedules.
* Manage all hire products, including VMS board programming.
* Complete end-of-month procedures and processes.
* Provide general administrative support for the Operations Manager.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year of administration experience.
* Strong computer skills (MS Office).
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Experience coordinating fleet, products, and operational logistics.
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work unsupervised.
* Hands-on approach and initiative.
* Reliable transport.
* Desirable but not required: Forklift licence and equipment towing/delivery experience.
