With a growing portfolio of high-profile commercial and infrastructure projects, they are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Cost Manager to join their Perth team.

About the Role
As a Senior Cost Manager, you will lead the cost management and estimating for engineering systems across major construction and infrastructure projects. You'll provide technical leadership, strategic advice, and ensure commercial best practices are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and detailed cost plans for infrastructure - Roads, bridges, tailing, civils and NPI.
* Lead pre- and post-contract cost management services on high-value projects
* Provide guidance on procurement strategies, risk management, and value engineering
* Conduct benchmarking, feasibility studies, and design cost analysis
* Review contractor claims, variations, and manage progress assessments
* Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to drive project outcomes
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team
Ideal Candidate
* Professional qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, building services, or construction management
* Extensive experience (10+years) in cost estimation and management of engineering services
* Strong technical understanding of building services systems across sectors
* Ability to lead complex projects with minimal supervision
* Strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
* Advanced proficiency in cost planning software and Microsoft Office
* Australian citizenship or preferred due to defence work
