Job Overview
This role involves delivering consultative services to local clinicians, focusing on promoting patient-centered care. Brain injury rehabilitation services are developed, planned and implemented with efficiency in mind. Collaboration with health clinicians in brain injury and a rural spinal cord injury coordinator occurs regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consulting with local clinicians to promote high levels of patient-centered care
* Developing and implementing effective and efficient services
* Collaborating with colleagues and traveling to other locations within the district when required
A registered health clinician in a relevant discipline (e.g., dietitian, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, social worker, speech pathologist, welfare officer) must have current accreditation. Experience in brain injury rehabilitation is preferred. Strong communication and consultative skills are essential along with willingness to travel.
