Logistics Officer
Position Type: Full-time, Fixed Term
Location: Katherine, with regular travel (including overnight stays) to remote communities

Position Summary
The Logistics Officer works as part of the Supply Chain team to provide administration, logistics, transport, and infrastructure support services to remote sites. The role ensures effective property, fleet, equipment, and supply management in accordance with contractual and organisational requirements, while supporting safe and efficient depot operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Receipt, dispatch, storage and transport of stores and equipment
* Maintain orderliness and efficiency of depot operations, including vehicle traffic and loading activities
* Drive to remote communities to deliver and collect stores and equipment
* Transport employees, Directors and patients as scheduled
* Maintain receipt, dispatch and equipment registers
* Research and coordinate purchase of equipment and resources
* Maintain cold chain compliance, including daily vaccine refrigerator monitoring and dispatch of vaccines and iSTAT consumables
* Conduct site visits, stocktakes and audits as scheduled
* Coordinate quotes, repairs and authorised maintenance with contractors
* Participate in planned preventative maintenance activities
* Maintain vehicle fleet (refuelling, cleaning, safety inspections)
* Support office relocations and furniture/equipment deployment
* Provide administrative and customer support, including answering enquiries
* Participate in the after-hours on-call roster
* Provide training and orientation support on logistics processes
* Adhere to all organisational policies, WHS, EEO and regulatory obligations
* Perform other duties consistent with skills and experience as directed

Experience & Skills
* Experience in logistics or warehouse operations
* Experience in receipt and dispatch of goods
* Proven safe manual handling capability
* Demonstrated computer literacy
* Ability to multitask and respond to short-notice requests
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight in remote areas
* High level of organisation, reliability and professionalism
* Strong alignment to Sunrise values

Qualifications & Clearances
* Current unrestricted NT Driver's Licence
* Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Non-adverse National Criminal History Check
* Current OCHRE Clearance
* Acceptable vaccination status to work with vulnerable people in the NT
* Right to work in Australia
