Electrical Data Technician (90M0663719) Townsville, Australia
Salary: AUD44 - AUD54 per hour + Car, laptop, mobile, training
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security systems and equipment, including alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
* Remediation of any issues related to security systems.
* Participate in a rostered on-call after-hours service to provide support and resolve issues promptly.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
* Experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and remediation of electronic security systems, ideally working with alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and associated systems.
* High level of competence in IT-based applications and hardware (preferred).
* Understanding of Cloud technology (preferred, but not mandatory).
* Availability to participate in an on-call roster for after-hours service.
* Experience in Data/Electrical cabling would be highly regarded.
Qualification Requirements:
* Current Driver's License (mandatory).
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, a QLD Security License.
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, Cabler Registration.
* EWP (Elevating Work Platform) License or High-Risk License (preferred, or the ability to obtain).
* Trade certificate in Data, Voice & Communications or similar (preferred).
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Australian Department of Defence NV1 Security Clearance.
Additional Requirements:
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
