A dynamic Structural Engineer is required to join our structural team. The successful candidate will lead projects from concept to construction and technical job delivery, working closely with a diverse client base. Key components of this role include responsible for technical delivery of wide range of structural projects including commercial buildings, residential developments, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical delivery of structural projects.
* Working closely with clients, attending meetings and inspections.
* Project costings, monitoring project performance and budget ensuring that key dates are met.
* Assist junior team members in the planning of their project time each week.
* Mentor up and coming young talented engineers.
* Contribute to technical development across the Structural section.
* Develop skills in business development including preparation of proposals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Essential Attributes:
* Proven experience working as a structural engineering consultant in the Australian market.
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering and ideally CPEng certified.
* Knowledge of ETABS, RC Building, RAPT, SpaceGass highly valued.
* Delivering projects across various types of structures within the residential / health / education / commercial / industrial sectors.
* Accountability to set goals and drive to their fulfilment - someone who can keep the team motivated and moving.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional groups.
* Familiar with financial management of projects internally is highly valued.
