One Group Labour Hire is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a growing and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident operating machinery, has a strong mechanical mindset, and is eager to expand their skills across new equipment and technologies.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works safely, and has the ability to learn and adapt to new machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a variety of production and manufacturing machinery
* Program and adjust machinery to meet production specifications
* Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
* Maintain quality control standards and production targets
* Perform routine machine setup, adjustments and changeovers
* Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
* Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operations
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience operating industrial machinery (essential)
* Ability to program and adjust machinery
* Experience with laser cutting machines (highly regarded)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret production drawings or job specifications
* Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new machinery and processes
* Forklift licence (advantage but not essential)
