About the role:
Join a large steel manufacturing and distribution in Queanbeyan, and you will be part of a close-knit team of Operators. The team is highly safety-focused and looks after each other, taking pride in delivering the highest quality product to customers. The site is one of the most successful branches - continuously growing and looking for Operators who can contribute to this.
The team will help you grow and develop your skills in the industry. Your day will be of variety, you will be given the opportunity to experience various departments of the business. Day and Afternoon shifts available.
Key duties:
Operating steel processing machinery for steel products and accessories
Operation of crane and forklift machines
General storeman tasks such as picking and packing, loading and unloading tasks
Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
Involvement in process improvement initiatives

About your experience:
You are someone who values teamwork, safety and continuous improvement and has a robust desire to succeed. On top of these, you take pride in delivering the highest quality products exceeding our customer expectations. We would love to see:
Experienced Operator / Store person or someone willing to learn
Background in the manufacturing, logistics or construction industry experience is ideal
Forklift and/or crane experience is highly regarded
Continuous learning and can-do mindset.
