The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join as a Dental Service Officer - specialist paediatric dentist in a part time temporary basis until 11 August 2024 .
You will be responsible to ensure a safe, effective, efficient and quality paediatric dental service to the outpatients of the Women's & Children's Hospital and affiliated agencies.
Encourage and support teamwork and coordination amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes and develop a strategic approach to the planning and evaluation of Paediatric Dental services. Maintain a program of quality and safety improvement through continuing professional development, department meetings and departmental audits.
About you
To be eligible you must have registration as a Dentist and a Dental Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia.
You will have to demonstrate significant experience in the clinical care of paediatric patients with complex oral presentations.
You should have experience in providing supervision to staff and teaching and guiding junior staff and students.
