The Package:
$107, $119,029.04 gross per annum + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered for this role.
Are you experienced in planning and delivering major infrastructure projects? Council is seeking an experienced and passionate engineer to support in overseeing the delivery of Council's new Queanbeyan Sewage Treatment Plant (QSTP) which will be an essential service for our rapidly growing community.
In This Role You Will
* Support in professional engineering and project management associated with the delivery of the multi-million-dollar Queanbeyan Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade project. More information on this project can be accessed here.
* Provide multidisciplinary design, cost estimation and programming, contract administration, internal and external stakeholder consultation and communication.
* Also be responsible for participating in site engineering and construction surveillance to ensure project milestones are completed on time and on budget.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
* Possess tertiary qualifications in civil engineering (or equivalent) and experience in the delivery of similar infrastructure projects.
* Has strong proficiency in project management methodologies and contract administration.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills.
