Job Description:
We are looking for a talented nurse who can take vital signs, discuss symptoms, document health history, administer medications, and provide resources and information on how to manage medical issues at home. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude.
* Immunisations and other injections
* Triage
* Chronic disease management
* ECGs
* Explain procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassurance.
The chosen candidate will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments, and equipment. They will also implement and practice infection control and assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain clinical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* AHPRA registration
* Experience in an accredited General Practice environment
* Caring and collaborative approach to patient care
* Sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism
* Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
In addition, the candidate must also provide current Police Check, AHPRA registration, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate, Immunisation Record, and Driving licences or photo ID.
