**HammondCare Woy Woy is currently hiring Casual Specialised Dementia Carers to join our team.**

With our unique model of care which places the residents needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. The care you will provide will be person-centred, and relationship-focused, with the understanding that each individual is unique.

**Some of the on-shift duties you will take on under our 'Cottage' Model of Care include**:
- Meal preparation and laundry - cooking, washing clothes, food preparation and safe storage.
- Personal care - showering, grooming, toileting etc
- Provide life engagement and interaction with other staff and families.
- Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents
**To be successful in this role, you will**:
- Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & improving quality of life
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including- **_Weekday availability (PM - 1430-2115, 8.30-1630, 11-7)_**:
- **_Weekend availability (including the above + AM shift 0645-1445) - Fri-Sun_**
- Value teamwork, autonomy and sharing knowledge.
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
- Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care or be studying towards a healthcare related degree would be viewed favourably.
