About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Support Officer to join our Corporate Contracts team based in Perth. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, this role provides essential administrative and coordination support to implement HOPE’s contract management framework, policies, and procedures.
You will contribute to accurate reporting, strong contract governance, and effective compliance processes, helping to build confidence with funders, partners, and regulators.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating, collating, and submitting funder reports within required timeframes
* Receiving, recording, and forwarding Department of Justice clearances for Youth Justice Service partners
* Maintaining contract registers (funding contracts, subcontracts, MoUs, and other agreements)
* Supporting compliance by distributing monthly reminders for upcoming contract deliverables
* Updating and maintaining contract summaries and supporting the development of summaries for new contracts
* Assisting with contract monitoring, audits, and performance reviews
* Escalating identified contract performance issues to the Manager Contracts and relevant stakeholders

You’ll Need
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar contracts, compliance, or administration role
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
* Experience preparing reports and maintaining accurate registers and records
Desirable:
* Certificate IV or higher in business, commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in the community services or not-for-profit sector
Essential Requirements:
* Current C or A Class Driver’s Licence
* Working With Children Card
* National Police Certificate (issued within the last 3 months)
* Department of Justice Clearance (can take up to 6 weeks)
